With 2016 now behind us, the Crucial Life Sciences Data Solutions (CLSDS) team is looking forward to some exciting developments slated for this year. As we continue to cultivate customer success, here are just a few noteworthy events on the horizon in 2017:
• Set to be released early in the first quarter, TrialKit™ is an iOS exclusive collection of clinical research apps that can be downloaded to build and/or manage a study or downloaded by study subjects to participate in a study. For the first time, clinical professionals can conduct trials from start to finish using only iOS devices – no programming expertise needed. TrialKit is based on the award-winning Clinical Studio platform. Head over to http://www.trialkit.com/ to learn more about how TrialKit empowers all of us to think differently about clinical research
• By March, Clinical Studio will have integrated the updated WHODrug dictionary format to csCoder, the system’s medical coding tool. This update adopts WHODrug’s new B3/C3 format, which will replace the B2 format and the C format. The B3/C3 formats are designed to meet regulatory SDTM requirements and recommendations, providing a higher level of specificity in coding
• For the fifth year, Clinical Studio will attend the SCDM 2017 Annual Conference in September in Orlando, Florida. We hope to connect with those of you that will be at the conference as well!
• Lastly, increased availability of programmable wearable technology will lead to even higher patient participation rates and greater patientricity in the healthcare industry
Be sure to stay tuned for even more system enhancements and happenings for Clinical Studio and TrialKit. Like 2016, CLSDS anticipates record-setting growth in study creation. CLSDS expects to have an eventful and successful year as we continue to innovate clinical research technology and reduce its cost, helping to make life-changing treatments available to those who need it most.
